I already found it bizarre how Biden had been able to basically hide for much of the election campaign, and avoid public scrutiny. Now, it seems they want to keep that going, because he quite obviously won't survive public scrutiny, so now this is the Democrats' only viable strategy for winning the election, or losing it as seems more likely, like they did with Hillary. No lessons were learned. It's reaaly quite impressive when you think about it.
If something like this had happened about thirty years ago, I would have thought, "No way! The president can't skip the debates and primaries and pretend they don't exist. You have to go out and shake hands and speak directly to the voters or else how can you expect to win?" But nowadays? Americans live in a surreal world where the majority accept every lie that is told them in the mainstream media and don't seem too confused or worried about the contradictions. Cognitive dissonance is cured with a couple of aspirins and a drink or two, I guess. It's sheer insanity is what it is.
Now THAT is the definition of insanity--not being able to live a decent life in the "richest nation in the history of the world" (as Bernie Sanders used to say).

Don't forget the having to work 3 jobs and barely make ends meet, or being homeless even though you have a job
