Why should we, as human beings with empathy and compassion, feel obligated to follow the orders and rules of a government run by creatures who exhibit no humanity whatsoever?

Humanity is the quality of being kind, thoughtful, and sympathetic towards others. Synonyms: kindness, charity, compassion, understanding. –-Collins Dictionary

“Verify that you’re a human” the instructions tell you with an online check box. But are you? Just because you can check a box that an AI ‘bot might not be able to doesn’t really verify your humanity, does it?

I’ve been having doubts for several years now, doubts that keep me awake nights. What if some of the people I see on the streets, in the grocery store, at the doctor’s office, online and particularly on the television news aren’t actually “human”? What if they’re just sophisticated facsimiles of human beings, but there’s no “soul” or “conscience” within? In other words, what if these individuals display no humanity? What should I do about those persons who are able to check the box, but whose heartless actions demonstrate they are anything but human?

In science fiction action movies, the aliens are usually not the good guys. They want to eat us, enslave us, or use our bodies as batteries to power a matrix. Should we assume these faux humans we encounter on a daily basis are equally nefarious?

Here are some examples of individuals who worry me—and possibly you, too, if you’re human.

One perfect example of this “human or not?” conundrum is Donald Trump, better known in our household as the Cheeto Bandito. If Trump knows how to send a post on Twitter/X, then he probably can check that box verifying he’s a human, but is he really?

To be considered human you have to be able to do more than apply orange face paint on a daily basis. You have to demonstrate your humanity to the world, or show empathy and compassion for others, especially to the most vulnerable in society. Trump fails in this area big time.

Trump’s recent crashing of the stock market and throwing tariffs on everything coming into the country won’t help working class Americans. It may even cost them their jobs as corporations fold in the ensuing economic turmoil. How are Trump’s actions helping the poor, the elderly, or the differently-abled if they’re forced to pay more for food, fuel, housing and medicine?

Short answer—Trump ain’t helping nobody but the billionaires who have raked in a ton of money from these crazy stunts. Do Trump’s capricious activities indicate he is without humanity? I say yes.

Another questionable individual is Trump’s right hand man, the Elongated Muskrat. Is Musk’s obsession with canceling hundreds of established government programs that have helped ordinary Americans survive and thrive—programs such as Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, educational grants, humanities grants, etc.—an indication that he is, in fact, an alien creature from another planet?

Musk does seem obsessed with going to Mars. What kind of entity would insist on billions of tax payer dollars for his Space X program to leave Earth, while destroying as many Earthlings as possible by denying them their Social Security benefits, other than a life form that didn’t originate on our planet in the first place?

An entire class of creatures that strike me as being without humanity are big corporations’ CEOs, particularly those in the health insurance, pharmaceutical, and food industries. We have the example of the UnitedHealth CEO who was already under investigation for business “irregularities” at the time of his demise. Health insurance corporations denying medical claims are essentially murdering 68,000+ Americans per year. That kind of behavior doesn’t indicate kindness, compassion, or humanity to me.

You might have noticed a pattern here about who seems lacking in humanity under my definition. They tend to be extremely wealthy individuals in positions of power. They’re not particularly concerned about how the lower classes perceive their actions or non-actions.

Perhaps that’s the most telling trait of all of these faux humans—they just don’t care at all about others or how others perceive them. They do as they will and to hell with everybody else!

I’ve used the terms “sociopaths,” “babykillers,” and “Zi-0-nists” before to describe these faux humans, but I’ve been told lately to go easy on that last group.

“They’re human too,” I was informed once after pointing out that the IDF/IOF acted like monsters whenever they bombed and burned Palestinian children and families alive in their tents without remorse. “We need to be patient with them. They’re damaged by the nasty things they were taught in their childhood. They’ve got to learn that it’s not nice what they’re doing in Gaza.”

Not nice? Are we supposed to put them in the time-out corner and take away their recess for being naughty in school? What’s wrong with my observation that these genocidaires are ghouls with a thirst for blood that would make a vampire blush and a sadistic streak a mile long?

If committing genocide is what it means to be human, to demonstrate humanity, then count me out. I don’t want to belong to any species who thinks killing babies and raping prisoners are okay under any circumstances.

And what about the politicians and celebrities worldwide and their sycophants who seem unperturbed by so much suffering, death, and destruction in Palestine? Are they demonstrating humanity?

I lump these faux humans together with the Israeli soldiers and their supporters. They sleep well knowing that a genocide is happening, but they’ll never use their bully pulpits to expose the war crimes of Netanyahu, Biden, Trump and so many others. They choose not to show understanding, kindness and compassion to Palestinians for whatever reason. They could just be flat out racists, but more likely they’re probably getting filthy rich from their Raytheon and Lockheed Martin stocks. Still, they are making a conscious choice not to show their humanity, empathy, compassion, and kindness, toward others.

Anyone who makes a choice to ignore war crimes is a war criminal—or at the very least a war crimes cheerleader. Everyday people who go along with war criminals have lost their humanity. Sorry, but the red line (or litmus test) you can’t cross to verify your humanity is supporting or committing genocide. You have to be unequivocally against genocide. No exceptions in my opinion.

Many have labeled faux humans as “Nazis” and “fascists” and “Brown Shirts.” These labels seem apropos to the compassion-less, mask-wearing kidnappers of ICE or the Immigration and Customs Enforcement goon squad. There’s nothing these thugs won’t do—up to and including smashing the car window of a Maryland woman and violently grabbing her in front of her child.

Packing immigrants into planes and flying them out of the country to a known torture chamber in El Salvador is all a part of ICE’s remit, too. They’re being backed up by paper-pushers who are sending out terse messages that give legal residents only seven days notice to leave the country. Where is the humanity in ICE’s actions? The kindness? The understanding? The compassion? Even an AI program can fake more kindness than these bullies.

We’re told we should be afraid of artificial intelligence but that could all be a ruse. Why should real human beings listen to or obey inhuman creatures of any kind, organic or artificial?

These faux humans demonstrate that they don’t have human beings’ best interests at heart. They don’t care if we suffer illness or homelessness or go hungry. They don’t care if our legal rights are being trampled upon. They don’t care if they ship us back to the country we escaped previously because our lives were in danger. They don’t care if their bombs are ethnically cleansing Gaza.

They simply don’t care at all.

So, why should we care what happens to them? Why should we listen to them at all?

Hear me out on this... Why should we, as human beings with empathy and compassion, feel obligated to follow the orders and rules of a government run by creatures who exhibit no humanity whatsoever? We shouldn’t.

Why should we as human beings let their thuggish, racist agents kidnap and deport our friends, family members, and co-workers? We shouldn’t—we should do all we can to prevent these kidnappings from occurring.

Why should human beings meekly accept denials of health care from non-human corporations that have zero compassion for those needing health care who threaten their profit margins? We shouldn’t—we should demand access to medical treatment and eliminate all the unnecessary middlemen.

Why should humans go along with those who commit and support despicable war crimes against innocent men, women, and children in Gaza and elsewhere? We shouldn’t—we should be closing down the arms factories, sinking the shippers of arms, and shunning the military forces who are perpetuating this crime against humanity.

There’s no reason for human beings to cooperate with anything these faux humans tell us to or to go along with their insane and inhuman actions. None whatsoever.

It’s time for a revolution. A revolution to rid us of these immoral creatures in our midst.

This brings up another question: Do we have any responsibility toward those faux humans who can’t verify their humanity through their actions? Should we even continue to work for their corporations, factories, offices, schools, institutions, or governments? They’ve effectively enslaved us like aliens do in sci-fi movies, forcing us to support immoral activities such as genocide. Why aren’t we fighting back? We aren’t we taking a stand for humanity?

There are ways for us, the true humans who demonstrate understanding, compassion, and kindness toward one another, to take a stand. The general strike. Full-scale boycotts. Demonstrations and marches in the streets demanding our human rights..

They may look like us, but these faux humans exhibit zero humanity. It’s time for us to lock up these...creatures… into the prisons their inhuman minds came up with in order to profit from our suffering. Give them a taste of their own medicine. They can work for pennies on the dollar as prisoners. Maybe the rehabilitation methods they’ve used on us will eventually “cure” them?

The rightful rulers of this planet—We the People, the human beings—should no longer tolerate these inhuman puppets masquerading as humans. And if the faux humans won’t cooperate and work with us for the good of all? Then we can give them the option of serving us as either compost or batteries to run the matrix.

There’s no need to waste natural resources now, is there?
