It galls me to say it, but Cleveland has been no better. It's Chicago, of all places, that passed a ceasefire resolution after teenagers walked out of high schools demanding it.

Ohio on the whole might be a lost cause... Sigh! Maybe it's time we did activate the teenagers and have them walk out of the high schools. (There are plenty of high schools in this area.) At the very least it will demonstrate to city council that the "future voters" have had enough of their crap and are willing to take to the streets to protest it.

It's amazing how callous and unfeeling our politicians are at times. Maybe they think we're all brainwashed to accept their abusive behavior and we'll vote for them even if they beat us senseless. Time to give these bullies a lesson at the ballot box.

We need to end the abusive relationship most voters have with their government officials and political parties. Maybe a 12 step program to end the brainwashing could be effective?

I hope she lost her damn bet and loses the next time she runs for office. Good luck to the people who take her down!

That Toledo council has to have a meeting to consider opening their businees on bizness Tuesday to public comments. They thought they were complimenting you by hearing you speak. Last year TPD had 330 high speed chases resulting in 160 crashes and civilian deaths. When an issue like this comes before City Council the one council member whines " my constituents are calling me, what" he says "am I suppooosed to say to them?" And he nor any of the council has any more to say about cops gone wild. And as is usually the case there were no public comments at that meeting. They leave it for sharper wits to have thoughts, they are news spectators those 6.

It's depressing how little city council members actually listen to their constituents, isn't it? One would think a person who runs for a political office would want to help others and keep the public safe, right? No, they're just in it for the money and the access to power it seems. It's up to us to replace these sociopaths so they never hold a public office ever again.

Well done for trying anyway. In the UK and US the main two parties both need voting out. We need alternatives to these murderous and selfish arseholes.

I agree about how we must vote the "duopoly" out of office. We do have alternative parties and candidates in the US, but the main two parties are particularly diabolical and dirty-handed, which makes it very difficult to run for office outside of them, let alone win against them. But we live in hope! https://www.jillstein2024.com

If I was in the US, I'd vote for her! Even if she didn't get in, enough votes and the others might start to take notice.

Wow! That really stinks!

Those councilors are all supposedly 'democratic,' yet they don't take the slightest notice of public demands. They think they can brush it off, and rely on dumb-as-sheep party voters to get them through another election cycle without worrying about troublesome things such as genocide. If not, they can take an appointed position and move up the ladder, all untouched by public concerns. The system is so rigged in their favor it'll take a seismic shift to break it - and I think that's coming.

Here’s to that “earthquake of awakening” to take these sociopaths out of office soon!
