Great article. The crazy thing is every word of it is true.

I wish I could travel back in time and make people see the wisdom in not allowing the military industrial complex take over the world. But they'd probably call me a lunatic and ignore my cries for peace and caution. Instead we elect lunatics with a thirst for blood, especially children's. Sad, isn't it?

If folks wouldn't listen to Pres. Eisenhower's good-bye speech warning about the MIC, then they won't listen to anyone... until it's too late. Let's hope more are getting the message that our lunatics-in-powers aren't to be trusted or obeyed any longer.

Thank YOU for the great illustration, Mark. I find Bibi to be one of the most hideous, "Jabba the Hut" type of faces ever, but he works well in your cartoon. Ugly man/ugly "heart"/ugly genocide.

Thanks. He really is, in all ways, a monster.

This Tupac song is from 1993, and ain't a damn thing changed:

"They got money for wars but can't feed the poor"

https://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/2pac/keepyaheadup.html

Still, as Tupac said in the end, change is possible and everyone has to keep on battling:

"And it's crazy, it seems it'll never let up

But please, you got to keep your head up"

Great song lyric. The more things change... the more they stay the same. For the worse, it seems. But keep your head up and keep protesting and fighting back against the sick, corrupt system!

Our governments' priorities are so wrong.

Perverse in fact.

You are both right. Our governments have perverse and wrong priorities. Any government that puts the profits of the war machine above the lives of innocent civilians (especially children) isn't worthy of our respect or obedience.
