I guess a lot of people really do believe that nonsense--I never did, and never wanted to get rich. Never really had trouble getting by, because I was born in '55--it's harder for young people today; and because I'm white; and because I was never truly unlucky, like having a medical emergency. Now, I am daily filled with rage, reading the news, but not because of how it affects me--I live in the country, in a house my husband and I built, powered by an off-grid system, and grow half our food ( I give away a couple dozen eggs a week). And this is my advice to anyone who isn't in love with city life-- find a place in the country where you can grow some of your own food, develop at least one salable skill that can't be done by robots or AI (plumbing, therapeutic massage), figure out how to control your own water supply and ideally electricity--theykey is to realize you don't HAVE to live like an American (wastefully). And you don't have to feel guilty about what the US government does--ordinary people have no voice in it. The US army is not "our" army.

I read that some corporation cloned long extinct dire wolves. Why can't we "clone" Luigi Mangione instead? We definitely need more bold leadership of the working class. It doesn't have to be a politician either. We need millions of organizers and activists united against the selfish, capitalist, imperialist, racist system.
