Food is the most lethal weapon. Withholding it is the ultimate way to control human beings, forcing them to respond the way you want them to with a minimum of effort.
Yes! I was just about to comment that we’ve been brainwashed from birth that we must be productive, work (a CAREER!) is the thing we look forward to, what provides value to our lives. Humanity has gone from slave, to serf, to corporate zombie, as if this is the holy grail. We identify as our work title. What do YOU want to be when you grow up? As things begin to unravel, I hope we will establish a different “curriculum” focused on something other than financial supremacy and wielding power.
And to think the POTUS PIG wanted a “thank you” from the Palestinians for the food they never received. Then he drifted into lies that it was Hamas who was stealing the food from their people. It’s difficult living in this country with so many soulless leaders and vacant people who voted for them. Like you said in your previous article, our country needs a revolution of the mind. I’m very inspired by the messaging of the President of Mexico when she speaks of the Fourth Transformation being about making humanism a reality through programs for the people and that the poor are first (“primero los pobres”). This message is repeated over and over in her addresses at events. I would bet that your average Mexican knows what the Fourth Transformation is about. I think in our country the task is bigger because we need to do a lot of “deprogramming” before we set the aspirations.
I agree that the task is going to be bigger and much tougher in the US because of the programming/propaganda we've all experienced on a daily basis from our youngest years to today. The oligarchs can't have us all thinking that we're equals and to put the needs of the oppressed first before the billionaires. Where would be the profit for them in that?
But maybe, just maybe, something is starting to get through that wall of propaganda. The genocide in Gaza is like a rock being thrown at that wall. If transformation can happen in Mexico, it could happen north of the border, too. But we definitely can't rely on our pig-in-chief and others in DC to cooperate with our deprogramming. We're on our own. We must deprogram each other, step by step, day by day. We can use the shocking photos of starving children as a tool of sorts in that effort. Anything to shatter the illusion that the US government actually cares about people who don't give them large campaign donations.
"When Plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men in society, over the course of time they will create for themselves a legal system that authorizes it, and a moral code that glorifies it"
Good examples. Albright is the devil's own girlfriend! (He's probably terrified of her, too.) The US really produces some of the most heartless killers in the world, doesn't it? No wonder why our government aids and abets genocide in Gaza--it's in our DNA. SIGH.
Time to stop and admit that government doesn't exist to serve the interests of humanity it's the other way round - government's function is to control humanity for the benefit of empire.
The industrial revolution transformed us into wage slaves, politici and their protectors into slave masters but they're still wage slaves.
There's a lot more to this, for example the first and second world wars benefited empire tremendously, remember who financed the rise of the Nazi's provided material support only to take over in the end and transform much of Europe into empire's bitches extra emphasis on the unelected president of that union ''fond of lying''.
Anarchy / self rule / common law is looking better all the time.
This should be printed in every civics textbook: "Government's function is to control humanity for the benefit of empire." It doesn't have to function that way, but it does. It's time we changed that, isn't it? It's time to deep six the empire and the oligarchy.
The Plandemic revealed quite a bit about how and what people were willing to sacrifice in order to continue functioning as a wage slave - I'm on a mining out post for empire Australala where quite a few are still wearing their facial nappies religiously and only recently talked to someone who had yet another booster shot - Here's the problem - they believe in the system it's not possible to get through to them.
The point here is that it appears impossible to wean the wage slaves of the present usury based economic system because I guess they fear they'll jeopardize everything they've worked and slaved for - they still believe in the system where upon I don't - I live in an old truck with solar but hardly anything to my name.
My advice for the younger generations - I'd have gone the way of that Canadian who set of in a canoe with the basic tools and build himself a cabin near a lake, or set of in a sailing boat, I like boats.
Thanks for your kind words. It does amaze me that more Americans don't make the connection between hunger, lack of health care and shelter and capitalism. I guess the majority of Americans have drank the Kool-Aid for so long that they think it must be their own fault whenever they're impoverished and lacking in basic necessities. And when they see others across the globe also suffering from these deprivations and worse (such as genocide)... Why, they assume it's because the oppressed deserve it because of their own weaknesses. Never do they connect the dots and see the hand of the capitalists in the background. We'll never have a lasting peace on this planet if we don't get people to realize just who their true enemies are!
It's disgusting that food is weaponized. I just finished my breakfast and I feel terrible that people in Gaza are deliberately being starved by Israel and its allies. With no consequences and no one stopping them. Thanks for posting.
It's mind-boggling how "accepting" the politicians and big-name celebs acted with Israel's evil tactics until the photos out of Gaza became just a little too "upsetting" to the general public. Seeing babies' rib cages and haunting eyes of hunger has awakened more people than photos of bombed buildings and rubble. It makes you wonder if folks couldn't figure out that babies were ALSO located under all those buildings and rubble, doesn't it?
It's too little, too late as far as those who have just reacted in my books.
I think it's just performative, and that they don't give a damn, but want it to look like they do. Maybe they're afraid of what will happen to them in the Hague.
I think the fear of punishment weighs heavily on some (especially politicians and diplomats), but I'm thinking their sudden "change of heart" is motivated by their pocketbooks. Perhaps the money from the Israeli lobbyists has dried up? Perhaps their careers in show biz or music have taken a big hit because their fans don't approve of starving children? Whatever is their motivator, I too doubt their sincerity.
Hi Cindy. I rather wish I’d been with you when you were protesting outside of Kaptur’s building; I certainly would have overturned that cart full of refreshments, stomped them with my cowgirl boots, and told the purveyor of the cart, Hope they enjoy it! A little destruction of property, hey worth a coupla days in jail.
As for the one-payer healthcare system: my brother is a retired MD. When I’d go to Colorado to visit, he’d excuse himself after dinner, say he had to “do his homework”. The homework was dealing with myriad insurance companies and he said that a one-payer system would reduce healthcare costs SIGNIFICANTLY; doctors with large practices must hire individuals to sort out the various payments to insurers.
Except for the beauty of the country itself and people like you, Cindy, I cannot think of one fucking positive thing about Amerikkka.
Well, we had a "police escort" with us most of the time we were protesting in front of Kaptur's office building, so probably it was best not to touch anyone or anything going inside. (And it could have been snacks for another office in the building, but if they were zy0nists as well then... fair game?)
I know most doctors I've dealt with haven't been too happy dealing with insurance. I've been turned down AGAIN this week for the asthma medication that I need because the insurance wants me on a cheaper kind. (I've tried the cheaper kind and it didn't work for me, which is why I was switched to the more expensive one.) The doctors at the clinic and the pharmacist are pulling their hair out trying to get me back on the one I need and respond better to, but it's slow going. Plus, this week is super hot and humid and the air quality sucks... If I could only give up breathing, then my troubles would be few!
It is getting super tough to "love" America, isn't it? We must do all we can to liberate it from the oligarchy and shut down the war machine. Forever. The plants and animals deserve it even if no one else does.
It's true--those in power have no qualms in starving us lesser mortals in order to get their way. That the mainstream media in the West is just now getting angsty about the photos most of us have seen for almost two years reveals the hypocrisy of both them and their "handlers". If we can't stop this genocide soon, we will seal our own fates. The oligarchy loves success, so they will do it again...and again...
It is true--they won't stop at just one livestreamed genocide. If they figure they can get away with it with a minimum of fuss, why not do it again to get what they want? Next time it won't be Gaza or Sudan... but it could be West Virginia or Alabama or inner-city L.A. Why wouldn't they starve the inhabitants of those regions if the oligarchs really wanted them out of the way?
Harrowing , that the “Hunger Games”, were never fictional, sieges and genocides are part of our history and now in our present.
Starvation is the cruelest, cheapest weapon known and it is evil beyond words. This is a crime against humanity, that is changing the trajectory for our species , maybe past redemption unless this stops 💪🇵🇸💪🏽
Truth is always more frightening than fiction, in my experience. The current truth is doubly so. But let's hope and keep working toward a trajectory for our species that is helpful and positive. I am heartened whenever I hear people speak out against the cruelty of the US and Israel (and their allies) for allowing this starvation (genocide) in Gaza to take place. We need to encourage those with a conscience to keep speaking out. We're not alone.
This article is full of ignorant baseless assertions and bizarre notions.
What planet are you from?
Yes! I was just about to comment that we’ve been brainwashed from birth that we must be productive, work (a CAREER!) is the thing we look forward to, what provides value to our lives. Well said! It's time to break through the brainwashing and become actual human beings, not simply playthings to be used and abused by the oligarchy.

Remember how racist pig Churchill & Co starved the Hindus?
Remember the sick bitch Albright saying that half a million dead children was worth the regime change war in Iraq?

Here's another vicious U.S. bitch who ran the Syria occupation (resembles Nudelman very much) openly bragging about "starving the country":

Great job of connecting the dots between capitalism and hunger as a tool of social control. This may be your best yet.
For everyone wondering why I don't embrace capitalism, this is one big reason why.
Capitalism isn't the issue. A forced economy is.
Research Laissez-faire Economics or Austrian Economic Theory , Mises, Hayek, etc.
