Just look how they are twisting the news on Syria.

Hi TRC

And now we’re trying to overthrow Assad, Syria’s legitimate leader, once again because Erdogan wants a pipeline through Syria to Turkiye.

When, when, when are we going to STAND UP against the neos and Zios? There are a lot more of us than them! Yes, Revolution means some of us will die, but we cannot let that stop us to create the greater good!

Good question! I think we should follow what's happening in Pakistan as best as we can (via indie media sources) as it could give us an idea of what works and what doesn't when it comes to overthrowing corrupt regimes. Learning from a successful (or even a non-successful) example is better than learning from a book.

Ukraine is of no value to the West, except as a spear to aim at Russia. For some reason, ever since the First Gulf War, antiwar types have convinced themselves that every global hotspot is a treasure trove of minerals waiting to be exploited, or a potential site for a pipeline.

The truth is much less exciting.

The Maidan coup proves that a pipeline site in Ukraine is worth fighting over. I believe it was Chevron who made the deal and then it was declined by the Ukrainians in favor of the Russians building a pipeline instead. Tthe US just had to throw out the Prime Minister who changed his mind about Chevron's deal. So, a global hotspot can be both a treasure trove waiting to be exploited AND an excuse to aim at Russia, IMO.

The coup had nothing to do with a pipeline, although Yanukovich was taken in by a scammer who promised construction of a (nonexistent) pipeline.

Wake me up when you're ready to shoot. Until then, we're sheep to be fleeced.

Why not do some of the waking up yourself? Why would anyone trust you in their army if you're not willing to help with the advance work? It's much better than sitting around and doing nothing except being fleeced.

Nightmares have their purposes: they're supposed to wake us up! Perhaps this time around the American people will stay awake and actually tear down the duopoly for good. We should follow the students, the Pakistani people, and the peace actuvists' lead. Get out of our way, billionaires!!

Nightmares do serve a very useful purpose--but we've got to learn from them, not fear them and sit around and do nothing. Protesters and activists of all kinds are showing us what needs to be done.

Revolution is the only way if Governments don't respect the people.

Thanks for the part about Pakistan. I don't see any news about this anywhere.

I wouldn't have known much about what's happening in Pakistan if I didn't follow an Pakistani-Canadian acquaintance on X/Twitter. The mainstream media is keeping it all hush-hush, as it sounds like it's quite a large and vigorous uprising, and if it is successful it could be duplicated around the world.
