I don't think I could look at myself in the mirror ever again if I voted for anyone who supports the genocide of Palestinians. It shows you how screwed up our system is if these types are considered our only viable options. It's time for Americans to vote for alternative parties and their candidates or revolution!

Exactly. Our planet and its climate only have so long until they're at the point of no return... We can't keep wasting time and supporting those who don't support the welfare of all humankind.

Thomas Jefferson spoke of an educated vote. When fear is thrown in, people are more easily led. Evil hides behind fear and the Devil is the wiser

I like it--another good "devil" saying. I agree about the educated vote. Unfortunately, it seems many Americans rather remain ignorant when it comes to who is running for election and what that person actually stands for. We've gotta keep educating them.

True but people tend to listen to those they "elect" and when those start spreading fear then we have a problem

Something to think about, especially if genocide is a red line for you, which it should be.

Expand full comment

It should be, but I do wonder... There are too many pundits out there saying, "You're not voting strategically if you don't support Genocider A or Genocider B." I wonder if their conscience bothers them late at night.

I don't think any of the people who genocide deny have a conscience. I've thought about this for 6 months and wonder how someone could do this. I wouldn't want to be them when they meet their maker. Selling your soul to the (d)evil comes at a horrific price.

I have the same thoughts. How can you say you are a "good person" if you're okay with mass murder? It's not a "one issue" voting tactic as some would say. A good person cannot endorse any candidate who is okay with genocide and keep their conscience clear.

The current US president is amoral. As a "good Catholic" he thinks nothing of being a co-actor and conspirator of genocide. His Reality TV relationship with Netenyahu is a parody of a concerned caring human. Meanwhile he ships off mega bombs and planes to iniliate the Palestinians. My last nerve went when 7 WCK workers were hunted down and murdered. The US Israeli policy hasn't changed. Gazans are starving and aide workers are playing the Squid Games to feed them... but there will never be a change in US Israeli policy 😏🤬

"Genocider A or Genocider B" ... that is the choice with the R's and D's.

No thanks, I won't vote for either. There are no 'good' Nazis.

As a New Zealander watching from afar it seems so heartbreakingly frustrating and obvious. Perhaps because we've just gone through our own mini scale version or just because it is easier to see from a distance when you are not wrapped in eons of the history and bullying and futileness you touch on. May those who pray for change realize they have the power to choose not A nor B (nor C from you've said). May the better change be coming for you all soon! Aroha nui, much love from Aotearoa

I can imagine how insane the US elections must look like from New Zealand! (They look insane from the inside.) I see the same Big Oil/War Machine oligarchs doing similar things in Canada, the UK, and Australia with trying to force voters into thinking there are only 2 (or perhaps 3) options, and if you consider anyone else, you're insane or "wasting your vote." It's high time we start inoculating voters against this type of electoral coercion. It's time we encouraged people to have the courage of their convictions and stop listening to the naysayers. Here's hoping 2024 will seen the beginning of the end of this insanity and bullying.

This was a fantastic essay! Thank you so much for posting!

Completely true. I'd never vote red or blue in the UK or US. They're all corrupt. I will vote Green (and am standing as a Green candidate in the next UK elections).

Best of luck on your run for office as a Green, Karl! I know you will do well.

Glad you put the cartoon to use!

The Devil is running amok in the United States. He's ruled the roost pretty much all along -- ask any Native American -- but the mask is really dropping away with the US/Israeli genocide in Gaza.

There''s another Republocrat cartoon I think you'll like directly related to war making, entitled "Bloody Brothers" .... https://demockracy.ink/gallery-democrats/

Sorry I forgot to tell you I was using one of your cartoons earlier. I had it in a folder and it popped up the other day and I just had to use it. Thank you once again for sharing your talent with the world.

Bloody Brothers indeed. I don't think the two factions of the uniparty have ever been more alike than they have these past few months, supplying arms to Israel in order to commit a genocide. Two bloody peas in a pod.

No problem, use whatever you wish at anytime. I just like to see the images put to use.

The criminality of both parties is disgusting.

Came here for the unhinged comments defending the current candidates for genocide.

The "vote for the lesser genocider" argument I've seen put forth online by a few is a feat of ignorance bar none.

There are a lot of candidates who would relish the chance to become prison guards for the NWO.
