Thanks for raising awareness on this.

Starbucks tastes like swill, so that's easy to avoid. Same with McDonald's crap. I just worry we won't make a big enough dent in Disney. They own ABC, ESPN, Hulu and a lot of other companies. It's tricky but I think together we can eventually get through their heads that genocide isn't entertainment.

I read this nodding and gulping hard as I looked around my house which has become littered with disney princess stuff and the likes gifted to my 3 year old daughter who like so many love all those catchy musical movies (as I did) and I'm thinking ok this is going to be an interesting challenge, but then again perhaps not so hard, as with everything else I have been very matter of fact with her and explained things as I would to anyone (not babying things down, well within reason.) So thankyou for the reminder, as we were going to headed to the new movie this week... instead I shall start preparing my explanation of why we shall no longer be paying to see the Disney movies nor paraphernalia.

And I'd better copy paste this over so friends and family can also get on board and stop buying the gifts that we have infact asked them not to buy lol. 🇵🇸❤️

I know where you're coming from... About 34 years ago I had a 3 year old daughter who just LOVED Ariel the Little Mermaid and Belle from Disney's Beauty and the Beast. I think it's fine if your daughter keeps her favorite toys and DVDs, but you could try and interest her in some other company's characters and movies. I'm sure there's a leftist parenting group online somewhere that can give you some ideas and options. I think if we all make a conscious decision not to just blindly give $$$ away to these Israeli-linked businesses our purchasing power will be a strong bat knocking some sense into their heads. But kids shouldn't have to go without their faves--life is short. Possibly we could become a positive influence on Disney by reminding them that the story of Aladdin came from the Middle East.

Exactly! Its funny cos Aladdin was my all time fav as a youngin, and then I ended up living in Qatar for 6 years and was like ahhhh :) (thats also when the fairytaleness of the bible stories I been raised on in New Zealand finally seemed less made up too). Thankyou so much 🥰

I thought Aladdin was probably the best musical, too. Robin Williams was great as the genie. We could use some of his magic today to take out all these oligarchs and end war and genocide worldwide. Until then, boycott Israeli products!

BDS is coming for the Israelis. They have made it inevitable. They have made it their destiny.

They did it by insulting the intelligence and the decency of the American people.

If the Houthis aren't allowed to completely shut down the ports in Israel, our boycotts can help to shut them down.
