The Neutrality Studies channel run by Pascal Lottaz had a physchologist as a guest expert a few days ago. In the interview he explained why the leaders of the so called west are heartless psychopaths and sociopaths. Basically there is a phenomenon of human pyschology in which the more privileged and fortunate people are, the more they believe that they they are not fortunate/lucky but in fact that they deserve these riches and power. And worse yet, the tendency is to believe that you not only deserve what you have but you deserve even MORE.
So it's down to the old saying: power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
This is true of the leaders of the so called west. But we also have to understand that this pyschological trait of humans ALSO means that there will be a tendency among the most fortunate of humans...i.e. the population of the so called west, who have the highest income and the biggest militaries.....to believe that they DESERVE to have all that and MORE.
This is the viral cancer that is fuelling white supremacist violence across the world. And what the psychology is suggesting, is that you cannot count on the masses of the so called west to p from stop it - they will tend to condone it, because, on average across the population, they want these underserved spoils of colonialism and they believe they deserve it in fact.
if anyone is shocked about the US aiming to sieze Iranian oilfields, well just remember that thye did it in a roundabout but murderous way in Venzuela a few months ago - and the "international community" ain't said a peepr. More over the US has sinvaded and stolen Syrian oilfields for years now, and not a peep from the "international community". In fact we learned in the past year that "the international community" has military personnel station at the US garrisons in Syria that are supposed to be effectign its control over those oilfields! The majority of the so called west dont object - they believe they deserve these stolen riches.
You can now understand why the Iranians, cornered by these psycopaths, have vowed to fight - they see no other means of escaping this monstrous force, but to beat it back and out. They are not waiting for your neighbours to all wake up and be enlightened, because the chances of that happening are zero. Basically the so called west will not be more empathetic until the global south actively resists the imperialism and the west consequently becomes poorer. A shock dose of inflation appears to be the prescription being dosed out to them by the IRGC.

The psychologist was spot on about this sense of entitlement the wealthy have (and consequently many in the West also have). Since these folks have never suffered starvation or deprivation or want of any kind, they "assume" (believe?) that they are somehow superior to the rest who do suffer. They cannot see where their actions could be causing others to suffer, but somewhere in the back of their minds, I believe the wealthy are scared that they WILL suffer if they don't keep up their domination of all others. Their aggressive wars to steal others' resources before others use them for their own purposes indicates this unspoken fear. US hegemony is just a symptom of the uber-wealthy's paranoia, fear and greed, IMO.
Iran is helping these psychopaths come to terms with the fact that the oppressed aren't going to take their selfish warmongering anymore. Iran is "curing" the West and the oligarchs by waking them up by blowing up their bases and aircraft carriers with cheap missiles and drones. Amazing how well Iranian brains over Westerners' "brawn" (overpriced arms) works!
