A few details in there that I didn't know about Zelensky. Many thanks for the high quality research!

You're welcome. It amazes me how people seem to forget the coverage a few years back (in the mainstream media, no less) of Ukraine's "Nazi problem" and how Zelensky was noted as being one of the most corrupt leaders on the planet. But somehow that all went away once the US started a proxy war with Russia. Funny, that.

“a conjuring trick requiring manual dexterity.” Perhaps that’s how Orange Man got that awful bruise on his hand. There is so much double-speak going on that it wouldn’t surprise me that there are multiple script writers and the compliant actors read their current lines regardless if they contradict their previous lines. It’s not always easy figuring out the actors nor the regular people who are the obligated audience. If it were only a play we could all chuckle at the absurdity, but you and your readers know that the real-life consequences of the actors’ actions have led to excruciating tragedies. Today a geopolitical analyst/journalist said he didn’t think the American people will change unless they experience deep pain themselves. I’d like to think we can turn around our moral decline before that happens.

Yeah, there's probably many script writers, but they all come from one big "family" called the oligarchy. And they always write a "happy ending" for the billionaires and never for the workers. It's going to hurt a lot before we can turn this mess around, so it's time for proletariat to grow up and prepare themselves for the coming Revolution.

Thanks TRC for a well-written, informative article. I really enjoyed reading it. (I especially enjoyed all the cartoons/images in the article).

Thanks for your kind words, Chang. I'm a visual learner, so I always like to put in memes and other graphics to illustrate things.

It’s all one big tragic comedy except it isn’t funny! By the way, what did piece did Zelensky play, the Minute Waltz?

The Revolution Continues's avatar

Ha ha! I put a link in to one of his "performances" on TV. It was a piece from the opera Carmen... I guess he has highbrow tastes when his pants are down low? Obviously, he and Trump have a lot in common. (And he's since apologized to Trump for making Donald angry. Boys will be boys!)

And jackasses will be jackasses! It makes you wonder if that little dust-up in the Oval Office wasn't staged.

The Revolution Continues's avatar

Oh, it was totally staged, IMO. The peace negotiations are going on as planned with Russia, but the "dust-up" was to make the neoliberals all pissed-off and distracted from what's really going on in the world. What you don't know won't hurt you, right?

It's crazy how people forget things about world leaders from just a few years ago. They forget about the Azov Battalion being neo Nazis too. Meanwhile ordinary people suffer and die to make billionaires richer. Why aren't we angry at them instead of our fellow workers? Time to expose the bad actors! (Except Zelensky who already has taken his pants down on TV.)

The Revolution Continues's avatar

Yeah, we don't need any more of that kind of "exposure" from these puppets of the oligarchy!

The Houthis model true bravery! That fight fearlessly against the much bigger bullies of the West not because they think they'll win but because it's the right thing to do. If only we could see more courage to do the right thing in the world, instead of the sniveling cowardice of billionaires who make profits off of others' deaths.
