This isn’t something most of us thought we’d ever see in our lifetimes. It was bound to happen sooner or later, but why now?
The United States of America is being destroyed from within—on purpose by its oligarchy, apparently. There’s no need to blame any other country or “terrorists” (foreign or domestic) for its destruction. Americans are perfectly able to tear themselves apart without outside help, thank you very much. They almost succeeded in doing so about 166 years ago, and there are many who wish it had been accomplished way back then.
The funny thing is that many Americans don’t see the destruction of their country happening currently. Do you call that “woeful ignorance” or “willful ignorance” on their parts?
I’m sure once the DOA tag has been tied to their collective toes Americans will understand that the USA is dead and gone for good. Until then, they’ll happily remain blissfully bamboozled (i.e., brainwashed or propagandized). They’ll keep convincing themselves that tomorrow will be their lucky day. They’ll keep praying that they’ll never need to see a doctor before they’ve landed a job with decent private health insurance as a perk. The self-destructive elements inherent in the American capitalist system get lost in the details, in other words.
Nobody acknowledges the downside of one American having a trillion dollars to his name at the expense of 340 million other people with far less who actually have to pay taxes. Nobody thinks of how denying universal health care to all Americans creates an unhealthy underclass that has nothing left to live for except revolution. Nobody gives a flying f*** about the homeless, the mentally ill, or the disabled living on the streets—directly beside tents occupied by well-employed Millennials who still can’t afford an average rent in Silicon Valley or most large cities in the US.

These are only a few of the steps already taken by the ruling oligarchy to destroy the United States of America. Amazing the country has held out this long, isn’t it?
There’s no denying how well this plan of destruction is working. US government officials spend their days dabbling in insider stock trading. They cut programs that aid the poor and needy without a moment’s hesitation. Money for education? Why bother! That’s what AI will be used for, right? Who wants intelligent and well-read workers? They’d only become restless and organize and attempt to overturn the system. It’s better to keep them stupid, weak and malnourished from eating too much processed foodstuffs.
Genociding people of color and various ethnic groups both at home and around the world is just a game to our ruling elites. Endless wars and endless resource stealing schemes keep American capitalists on top. And that’s the most destructive element of all.

The consequences of American capitalism are catching up to the nation as a whole. Nobody likes us/the US anymore. And why would they?
No one likes a bully and a thief. No one likes anyone who hangs around with the ultimate bully and genocidal maniac, Israel. Other countries might say they’re cool with the US, but they do so out of fear, not out of love or admiration. And what’s to love or admire about the US after you’ve read the headlines above? If the US won’t take care of its own people, and it takes advantage of other countries every chance it gets, then why should any country give a shit if it’s disintegrating?
America has totally destroyed its own reputation and only has itself to blame.
Some day in the not-so-distant future when the country is crying out for help, no one will be bothered to come to its aid. They all will be too busy carving a big tombstone with the words “Good riddance to bad rubbish!” on it.
Am I “unpatriotic” by pointing out these very obvious crimes the US has taken against its own people and others? If anything, I’d say Americans who unabashedly call attention to the country’s many faults and self-destructive tendencies are the ultimate patriots. We’re doing our best to stop its self-destruction before it’s too late. Even if Uncle Sam is a terminal patient, we’re still willing to rebuild America’s reputation and save its people from a fate worse than death that their ruling despots have decreed for them.
How will we “true patriots” go about curing this terminal illness of capitalism with its senseless and endless wars? It’s obvious—we must end capitalism and shut down the war machine forever. It won’t be easy, but it has to be done. The people’s needs should come first and foremost, not the billionaires’ or the trillionaire’s. Stopping the construction of killing machines and halting the training of a new generation of killers (both AI and human ones) should be the first steps taken toward our recovery.
Americans have got to stop killing others since it’s killing themselves. More and more are waking up to this fact. They see how endless war is just endless insanity. Nobody wins. It’s time to act now because it’s all too apparent this conflict with Iran has done nothing but kill innocents and raise prices for gasoline and food to record highs.
Ordinary Americans are struggling. Our ruling elites, the billionaires and the trillionaire, don’t care. When have they ever?
Ending capitalism and the war machine may not be quite as flashy a fight as staging a Roman gladiatorial match on the White House lawn, but I’d call it true patriotism. Wouldn’t you?

A couple quibbles. Nobody expresses horror or disgust at the "first trillionaire"? To me it looks like everyone does, but maybe that's because I consume very little "mainstream" media.
And the map. No interventions in Argentina or Venezuela? Argentina was very much part of Project Condor, and Trump promised $40 billion in taxpayer cash to Argentina if they reelected the execrable Milei. I doubt if the current assaults on Venezuela are the first intervention there.
Such quibbles aside, you've made the case well. Are the elite deliberately destroying the US? It doesn't seem likely, but if that WERE the goal, they might be doing all the same things, and getting credit for remarkable progress.
Uncle Sam is terminal... Long live the revolution! This is our opportunity as the workers to get things right. Let's don't drop the ball and get into a brawl on the White House lawn, all right?
