Codependent Conspirators
by C. A. Matthews
Once upon a time there was a violent and spoiled brat named Benji. Benji lusted after his neighbor’s things. He wanted to play in his neighbor’s yard any time he wanted to without asking permission. He longed to beat up and terrorize his neighbors any time he felt like it, particularly one neighbor. Benji held a long held grudge against this neighbor because he coveted this neighbor’s yard and things the most. But he couldn’t go it alone—he needed help in doing so with minimum injury to himself.
So Benji went to his mother, Usa, to ask for her help.
Benji: I need more bombs to blow up the neighbors. Give them to me!
Usa: Okay, just give me a moment to gather them up. Now, don’t do anything foolish with those bombs that could reflect badly on either me or you.
Benji: I will do whatever I want. I’m special. Anything I want, I get.
Usa: Yes, I know, but you have to give a little in return. You have to let me have access to your room from time to time for my purposes and—
Benji: Yeah, yeah, whatever! Where are the bombs? I need them now.
Usa: Hold on, hold on… [The phone rings. She answers it.] Hello. What’s that, Mrs. Icici? Benji has a what out on his head? A warrant for genocide? He’s been allowing his gang to do what to the neighbor’s kids? Rape? Torture? Maiming? Stealing their pocket money and bombing their lunch boxes?
Benji: Hurry up! These people don’t just kill themselves! You’re cramping my style.
Usa: (Still on the phone.) All right, Mrs. Icici. I’ll let him know. But I’ll have you know that I don’t appreciate your tone. Benji and I have a perfectly respectful relationship. I can’t believe all the lies you’re saying about him. You’re just trying to blame him for everything that goes wrong in the world. It’s all the other kids’ fault anyway. They’re all terrorists and monsters. Good-bye!
Benji: Finally! Give me the bombs and then get back to doing what you do best.
Usa: (Handing the armaments to him.) What’s that, dear?
Benji: Covering for me with the cops. I appreciate it, but you’ve got to up your game.
Usa: (Looking confused and hurt.) Up my game? How? I’ve been providing you with everything you ask for and then some. The neighbors are giving me those disgusted looks again and saying that my days calling the shots in this neighborhood won’t last much longer. What else can I do for you?
Benji: (Taking the bombs and heading toward the door.) You can get the f*** out of my way and quit whining and questioning my motives. Don’t forget—I’m special. You’re just a washed up, has-been. Do as you’re told, or I’ll be tempted to use a nuke bomb on you someday. (He makes some violent, suggestive moves indicating where he’d like to ram the bomb.) Get it?
Usa: (Gulping.) Yep. Got it. Have a good day, dear. Let me know when you’ll be home.
Benji: (Muttering as he leaves.) Whatever, b*tch…
You may or may not recognize the two characters in this short dialogue, but you should recognize that theirs is a dysfunctional relationship. They might believe that they demonstrate mutual respect and truly care for each other, but in reality their relationship demonstrates a sick dependence on both their parts to use the other to get what he or she wants out of life.
Benji needs his mother’s resources to blow up his neighbors and take whatever he wants. He gets his kicks out of causing others to sweat and suffer—including his mother sometimes. It makes him feel big and in control. Nobody dare mess with him or they’re dead!
Usa needs Benji and his activities to give her existence validation. Acting together, she has realized her dream to become the top bully on the block she has always wanted to be. Everyone gives in to her and eventually hands over their lives and resources. Her family profits greatly from the goods and land they steal. Scared neighbors are easy to manipulate and abuse. Soon she doesn’t even have to threaten to sic her son on them to gain their cooperation. She just follows his lead.
Benji and Usa are codependents conspiring together to build an empire of fear and greed. They have different names in the real world. Have you guessed them yet?
Even if you haven’t, let’s take a look at a recent example from the real world.
When we had undeniable evidence of the IDF doing all the things it accuses Hamas of doing, our political class did not give a crap. The horrifying reports included: the neglect of existing medical conditions; operations performed without anaesthetic; loud music played for long periods; sound grenades set off throughout the night; beatings and violence with the use of dogs; prisoners left naked and blindfolded and having their limbs restrained for months until they had to be amputated…
Perhaps the most disturbing abuse meted out by Israeli soldiers is that of rape and sexual violence, not just because of the sadistic nature, but because false allegations of mass rape against Hamas was a key justification for the brutality of the Gaza invasion. “We are fighting human animals and we will act accordingly,” we were told…
Their crimes are so sadistic, it feels uncomfortable writing them out, but they include penetrating the anus of prisoners with an electrified, red-hot rod, causing excruciating pain and horrific injuries. What type of monster thinks of this shit? —from Israelis protest for the IDF's right to rape Palestinians
This is a typical example of “Benji,” or rather war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu and his Israeli Defense Forces, at work. Israeli soldiers’ sadism is fast becoming legendary. And yet they’re not entirely independent. Their “mother,” the USA, provides them with plentiful weaponry, bombs, military advisors, and much needed political cover.
No matter how horrific the news coming out of Israeli prisons or how sobering the death statistics coming out of Gaza or the West Bank are, the United States of America is still making excuses and refusing to cooperate with the United Nations by turning Netanyahu in to the International Criminal Court (ICC). The US could have easily done so when Netanyahu was in Washington DC recently to address Congress.
Here’s further proof of the codependent relationship between the US and Israel after Israel’s recent assassinations of the Hamas political leader and chief negotiator Ismael Haniyeh while he was in Tehran and a Hezbollah leader in Beirut:
All this babbling about “defending” the state of Israel is intended to convey the false impression that Israel has just been sitting there minding its own business, and is about to suffer unprovoked attacks from hostile aggressors for some unfathomable reason. As though detonating military explosives in the capital cities of two nations to conduct political assassinations would not be seen as an extreme act of war in need of a violent response by literally all governments on this planet.
In reality, the US isn’t vowing to defend the state of Israel, the US is vowing to help Israel attack other countries. If you’re pledging unconditional support to an extremely belligerent aggressor while it commits the most demented acts of aggression imaginable, all you’re doing is condoning those acts of aggression and making sure it will suffer no consequences when it conducts more of them. —from Promoting Peace And Stability In The Middle East By Unconditionally Backing Its Worst Aggressor
There’s no denying it. The American-Israeli relationship is one very sick and twisted relationship—and it’s growing sicker and more twisted by the day.
It’s apparent that they’re not going to get help for themselves. This means only one thing: We the People must stop it.
Americans can’t sit on their hands and pretend they don’t know what’s going on in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, Iran… anymore. We have the internet. We have social media. We have friends and family members who live in other countries willing to share the facts with us. Our mass media propaganda-pushers in the US can’t be bothered to tell us the truth because they don’t want to reveal just how sadistic and codependent our AIPAC-owned politician-puppets have become.
But no more excuses! Make them own it!
No more covering up for the rapist baby-killers. No more covering up for sadistic torturers and murderers of children. We shouldn’t be feeding into the madness of these evil psychopaths. We should be fighting back. Now.
I made some suggestions last week about how to rid our Congress of war criminals via protesting and legal and electoral means, but I’m told that my suggestions haven’t gone far enough. Maybe not, but these types of activities are a start. Most of us don’t feel confident in taking drastic actions until we’re forced to do so and can’t think of any other peaceful method that would work.
The time is coming when less aggressive tactics such as protesting could be outlawed and our right to vote will be no more. It could be tomorrow or next year, but it’s on its way. We need to be ready. We need to know in advance what we’ll do.
Lines will be drawn in the sand on that day. Which side will you be on? The side of the oppressors or the side of the oppressed? Will you fight for justice for those who are being ethnically cleansed from their homeland, or will you fight for the rights of white-settler-colonist-racist-rapists-torturers to continue committing war crimes?
Think carefully. Your destiny may very well be determined by whom you support. Are you keen on being labeled a monster for aiding and abetting a genocide? Or will you be known as a freedom fighter for fighting back and bringing about an end to this immoral codependent relationship between the War Machines of the fascist US government and its equal sicko allies like Israel.
Be a part of the 3.5%. If there is enough of us standing up against the fascists, they’ll back down. At the very least, we’ll be in a strong position when they force us to take aim at them from the firing line.
The choice is yours. Make your decision wisely.
A strong, diplomatic statement from the Green Party’s Dr. Jill Stein:
We demand Joe Biden and Kamala Harris avert the impending Middle East war by ending Israel’s genocide in Gaza now.
The long-feared regional war is looming in the Middle East and could easily spin out of control into a wider conflict. The Biden-Harris administration is pouring gasoline on the fire by sending massive arms and troops to back Israel, whose aggressive actions have long been pushing for expanded war.
The Biden-Harris administration must stop this at once and fix the crisis at its source - by ceasing all weapons and support to Israel until it ends its genocide in Gaza and agrees to negotiate a settlement for Palestine and the region consistent with international law and the rulings of the International Court of Justice.
After Israel’s back to back assassinations in Beirut and Tehran last week, Iran has met with allies including Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, Yemen and Iraqi militias to plan joint action against Israel and US bases in Iraq and Syria. By responding with warships, destroyers, fighter jets and potentially land-based missile defense and troops, the US is proposing to take direct part in the imminent war that could easily go nuclear.
Some Israeli leaders have already suggested using nuclear weapons. Such a war could trigger nuclear winter - a reduction in sunlight due to debris from nuclear explosions suspended in the upper atmosphere for years, which can cause global famine with the potential to end civilization as we know it. By funding and arming Israel, and refusing to rein in its rampage, the Biden-Harris administration is now putting Americans and the world in the crosshairs of Israel’s genocidal aggression.
The US must not be dragged into a disastrous regional war by an Israeli government seeking cover to continue its genocide in Gaza.
It’s long past time for the US to end the genocide in Gaza that it is enabling. The US is providing the vast majority of weapons being used by Israel in Gaza, as well as financial assistance, intelligence and diplomatic cover. By halting all support for Israel’s genocide, the US can make an emergency diplomatic appeal to Iran and allies to hold their fire.
By allowing Israel to determine US foreign policy in its most basic form - in matters of war and peace - the Biden-Harris administration has effectively handed the role of Commander in Chief to Bibi Netanyahu. This is an intolerable betrayal of the American people and it must come to an end.
We encourage all people of conscience to vehemently protest the US rush to war, call for an end to aid to Israel until it ends its genocide, and demand peacemakers rather than warmongers at all levels of government.

The harsh truth is we cannot even call Israel a spoiled child of a weak parent.
In fact the US is not only THE mass murderer and sadistic torturer in this world, also it STILL runs the world's biggest gulag.

USA: ‘We tortured some folks’: The wait for truth, remedy and accountability continues as redaction issue delays release of senate report on CIA detentions
The fact that President Obama not only ended the CIA secret detention program, but has also publicly acknowledged that torture was a part of it, is to be welcomed. Nevertheless, the President once again failed to say that torture is a crime under international law, that every instance must be subjected to investigation and that anyone responsible for it must be brought to justice. President Obama’s silence on accountability and redress reflects the USA’s continuing and active failure to meet its international human rights obligations on these issues...."
Even now THIS WEEK as we speak Lloyd Austin is doubling down on the US government's wish to to show the world that it has a god-given right to torture and rape prisoners and hold them in a gulag for 20 years
https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2024/08/06/zoig-a06.html
"..On Friday, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin revoked a plea agreement negotiated two days earlier between prosecutors and three defendants, who have been charged with murder and conspiracy for their alleged role in the terror attacks of September 11, 2001....A group called “September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows” issued a statement denouncing Austin’s revocation of the plea deals, saying:
That the secretary has now overreached and undertaken direct oversight of the 9/11 commission is cause for enormous concern. While we understand there are family members who are opposed to plea agreements, the reality stands that the 9/11 accused were tortured and several were sodomized. If any entity is at fault for the inability to prosecute this case with a slam dunk, it’s the torturers. Because of the torture, the 9/11 accused will not be put to death. And any administration official or member of Congress who says otherwise is either uninformed or politically pandering.
Anthony D. Romero, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), issued a statement saying that Austin’s edict prevented a guilty verdict in “the most important criminal case of the 21st century,” adding that it “violates the law.” He said his organization would challenge it in court.
Romero went on to write: It’s also more than a little ironic that Secretary Austin’s gung-ho insistence on executing the 9/11 defendants directly contradicts the Biden Administration’s public commitment to ending the death penalty. The United States has spent decades and tens of millions of dollars trying to secure a death sentence that cannot be upheld in the face of the government’s torture.
The military detention, torture and prosecution of the 9/11 defendants without due process is part of the attacks by the American political system on basic democratic rights. That the unlawful treatment of the detainees at Guantánamo Bay is part of the deepening crisis of the entire US political system is shown by the fact that these prosecutions have been maintained by four different administrations, two Republican (Bush 2001-2008, Trump 2017-2020) and two Democratic (Obama 2009-2016, Biden 2021-2024)....."
