Hey. Thanks for sharing our article about quantum teleportation.

You’re welcome. I’m a Trekker and I’m just wishing that Scotty would beam me up from this mess of a planet…

Unless the US gets out from under the evil influence of the Zionists/Israelis, the only road we'll be traveling is the highway to hell.

The Revolution Continues's avatar

With no exit to Paradise. Sigh.

"Blessed are the peacemakers - unless they belong to the opposition party, in which case they can go feck themselves" seems about the size of it. What makes it even more pathetic is the two parties are but one zionist entity.

The Revolution Continues's avatar

There's not much room (if any) between the two factions of the duopoly/uniparty. If they're both paid off by AIPAC, then that's all we have--a government run by pro-Israel politicians. It explains why they want to merge the US security state and military with Israel's now, doesn't it?

.It takes humility, courage and maturity to admit that you’re wrong, mislead or lost. But that’s how we grow unless you happen to believe that growth depends on how much money you’ve accumulated.

The Revolution Continues's avatar

It does take humility, courage and maturity to admit you’ve become “lost” and have headed down the wrong road of life. Working in a 12 Step group can help a person see where the wrong turn was made and help an individual to grow. But if you’re stuck on outward signs such as accumulating money and military might as “growth” you’re bound to be frustrated. That’s the story of Zionism and capitalism for you!

The only difference between the two parties is that the Republicans are honestly dishonest while the Democrats are dishonestly dishonest. End result with both is the same: genocide; corporate control and corruption, climate collapse and mean vicious government that actively starves and kills children and shields child rapists and traffickers.

The good news is the largest potential voting block at just under 40% is independents. The two parties evenly divide the remaining pool of voters which means presidents are currently elected with just a tad over 20% of potential eligible voters. Not exactly a government "of the people" and certainly not a legitimate government.

In such a corrupt system, non-voting at the federal level may be the most effective thing one can do. Adding to the evidence of illegitimacy undermines any pretense that those who "win" elections are legitimate.

The Revolution Continues's avatar

I like that description “honestly dishonest”. I just wish more politicians would openly confess that they’re under orders from AIPAC and their billionaire donors so we wouldn’t get our hopes up that they actually will stand up for the people.

But there are signs, like you say, that the voters are seeing through the dishonesty and declaring their “independence.” I’m at the point now that I really don’t see much use in voting in state or federal elections if they’re going to keep my preferred choice off the ballot with their duopoly dirty tricks. But there’s not a much better outlook on the local level here in Toledo—they voted to keep the Flock cameras and ordered more drones. Big Brother is definitely watching YOU.

I had a friend who didn't believe Israel was committing genocide in Gaza a few years ago, and we had a disagreement about it. Although I knew this person well enough to point them in the direction of a conversation Naomi Klein had with Bernie Sanders about how she couldn't support the Dems after Biden's support for genocide. But then the clincher was Avi Lewis, who we're both a fan of, running for and then being elected as the leader of the NDP here in Canada, and he calls genocide for what it is, as did the rest of the candidates.https://lewisisleader.ca/

I love this person a lot, so didn't bring it up again. It must be terrible to only have two parties to choose from, both beholden to the billionaire class and neither of which care about the interests of ordinary people. That can hardly be called a democracy.

The Revolution Continues's avatar

It is interesting that a close friend may not believe what you say about the genocide in Palestine, but they’ll take a stranger’s word for it—particularly the word of a well-known, influential celebrity (politician or otherwise). That’s why I get so angry at celebrities and politicians who don’t speak out against genocide. They could persuade so many fence-sitters and genocide deniers, IMO. Keeping silent is the same as being a genocide-supporter.

And I’ve never thought the USA was a “democracy.” It’s never qualified as such. Most Western nations don’t if you look at their founding documents and observe their behaviors in real time. But the ruling elites want us to think we are so we’ll shut up and go back to work because it’s good for “democracy” whatever that really means to them!

Diana van Eyk's avatar

I agree that our western countries aren't actually democracies, and I wish people were more discerning about their beliefs too.

Mark Taylor's avatar

Yes, Diana, the American system is a "DeMOCKracy".

The Revolution Continues's avatar

Right you are, Mark! We have made a “MOCKery” of ourselves by thinking the US is a “deMOCKracy”.

There are a lot of duopolists who don't give a shit about anyone but themselves. They just hate Trump and long for a handsome, smooth talking dictator in charge instead. They're prime candidates for Zionists to latch onto and use in their quest to wipe out everyone who disagrees with them. Until they suffer directly from the BNMW/zionist agenda, there's possibly no getting through to them. But keep planting seeds in their minds... One day they could surprise us all.

The Revolution Continues's avatar

"They buried us not knowing we were seeds..." Maybe all the "dirt" we get thrown on top of us is helping us to grow and bloom into many flowers of revolution? Fingers crossed!

Yes, the carping against the MOU--which DOES give the Iranians everything, but is also justice--is stupid. Ending ANY war is a good thing. War is where people from one place go out and deliberately kill lots of people elsewhere, and damage important infrastructure, cause maiming and create widows and orphans. Stopping such activity--and not starting it in the first place--is so obviously the right thing that apparently it can be hard to grasp.

Perhaps a lot of the reason Dems and BNMWs are making these statements is not pro-Zionism but just mindless opportunism to take a shot at Trump they think might be effective. Even, that they know the war is costing Trump and so they think the longer it goes on, the better their chances in November.

But I am skeptical that either a Dem landslide OR a Green one, would make much difference--I think this horrible system is locked into place and mere elections will change little.

The Revolution Continues's avatar

I think there are a lot "knee jerk reactions" in regards to Trump from the BNMWs. A lot of the duopoly seems to think Trump has god-like powers and some are deathly afraid of him on a primitive level. Why they think Trump is all-powerful is a mystery to me, but possibly encouraging this fear does play into their "lesser evil voting" propaganda to get more Dems elected.

But to put electoral politics above the very security of our country--the world even--is just vile, IMO. The US started a war. It must end it and take its "lumps". And the sanctions have been going on for far too long in regards to Iran and Cuba anyway and should be ended and reparations made. If we were in their position, we'd feel the same.

*It’s The System Stupid*

“Building a real alternative to the Democrats requires class independence first and foremost. Whether this means a workers’ party or some other formation is not clear.

But we have to draw a clear class line in the 2016 election and reject the Green Party once and for all.

Instead of dangerous half-measures like the Stein campaign, socialists should support explicitly socialist candidates. Such campaigns have no chance of winning, but neither will the Stein campaign.

Far more important, at the current time, is to use the election to reach people with a genuine socialist message, which we can’t do while pushing a Green Party campaign.” - Wayne Stephen, June 8, 2016

It's 2026 not 2016. Live in the present not the past.

The Revolution Continues's avatar

Yeah, without a time machine you can't change past elections' outcomes!

In 2026, Green Party members call themselves "eco-socialist" and their platform testifies to their socialist bent.
